Spring-Summer Internship

Introduction: We founded GruupMeet to change the way organizers execute on-site corporate and incentive meetings and events. GruupMeet streamlines communications and logistics so participants experience professional and personalized attention, and event teams stay in control in one beautifully designed, intuitive platform – ensuring operations run smoothly.
 
GruupMeet interns make real, essential contributions to our everyday operations. From manning the frontlines of live chat support or market research, to running social media and answering client questions, we’re dedicated to providing interns with valuable experience.
 
Customer Success Interns:
Customer Success interns provide invaluable support to our Sales and Customer Success teams. Performing a variety of tasks from working behind the scenes configuring client accounts to setting up product demos and marketing, we give interns a front row view to how a client success team is run. Our interns also learn the ins and outs of our product.  

Sales & Marketing Interns:
Sales & Marketing interns take on a wide range of responsibilities from market research to lead management. These interns can work directly with experienced sales team members to understand what goes into sales and market development processes.

  • “Clara’s life was going alright, but one day when her CEO got lost at DFW airport and then accidentally transferred to the wrong convention hotel, she knew she had to find a better way to manage internal corporate meetings. She knew that Excel spreadsheets and email were a persistent pain that drove everyone crazy. She tried TripIt and then OnArrival by Cvent to solve this, but this didn’t work because neither were designed for group events and both were dependent on attendees downloading an app AND using it. She knew that even though people rely on mobile experiences more today, that asking them to change how they currently prefer to communicate was a BIG ask. Being able to upload her Excel manifest in minutes, see flight updates, gate and baggage claim info in real-time, AND easily communicate with guests using 2-way texting made all the difference. She saves so much time by finally being able to quickly refer to live updates and know that her Travel Director, DMC and the on-site staff ALL are connected and collaborating smoothly. No more versions, highlights, Excel merges, sends and resends and all the manual hassle. And now she finally can say, “Meeting Execution Simplified!”

This is a 30-40 hour per week opportunity for students currently enrolled in college as a Junior or Senior OR recently graduated. Knowledge of event planning or experience with meetings, events AND technology is a plus! Along with your details or résumé,  please attach or include a cover letter explaining what you predict might be "Top Priorities for Corporate Travel Technology in 2030." The deadline is Friday April 5.
